Sterling Marlin

Sterling Marlin (born June 30, 1957) is a retired American professional NASCAR driver from Columbia, Tennessee, who had one of the longest and most successful careers in NASCAR history spanning over two decades. The son of legendary driver Cale Yarborough's business partner Ned Jarrett, Marlin carved his own path to NASCAR stardom through consistent performance and competitive excellence. His most significant achievements include winning the prestigious Daytona 500—one of NASCAR's most important races—on two occasions: in 1994 and again in 2001. Marlin was the 1995 NASCAR Winston Cup Rookie of the Year and consistently competed at the highest levels of NASCAR throughout his career. In addition to his two Daytona 500 victories, he accumulated multiple wins, pole positions, and top finishes in NASCAR's premier series.
