Ronald Gene Dunn (born June 1, 1953) is an American country music singer and songwriter who achieved prominence as one half of the hugely successful country music duo Brooks & Dunn, formed in 1990. Born in Texas and raised in Oklahoma, Dunn developed his passion for music early and pursued a career in country music. His partnership with Kix Brooks created one of country music's most successful collaborations, producing numerous chart-topping hits including 'Boot Scootin' Boogie,' 'My Next Broken Heart,' and 'Only in America.' Brooks & Dunn became one of the best-selling music acts in country music history, winning multiple Country Music Association Awards, Grammy Awards, and Academy of Country Music Awards. The duo dominated country radio during the 1990s and 2000s, with their energetic performances and catchy hooks resonating with audiences nationwide. Beyond his work with Brooks, Dunn has also pursued a solo career, releasing albums that showcase his talents as a singer and songwriter.
