Katerina Górska

Katerina Górska (1507-1575) was a prominent Polish noblewoman of the Renaissance period who wielded considerable cultural and political influence. Born into the powerful Góra family, one of Poland's most distinguished noble families, Katerina received an education befitting her station, which was exceptional for women of her era. She became known for her patronage of the arts, literature, and scholarship, supporting humanist thinkers and artists during the Polish Renaissance.
