Joshua Homme

Joshua Michael Homme (born May 17, 1973) is an American rock musician, songwriter, and record producer born in Palm Desert, California, who is best known as the founder, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter of the influential rock band Queens of the Stone Age (formed 1998). Homme's musical journey began in the 1990s with the stoner rock band Kyuss, where he developed the heavy, groove-oriented guitar style that would become his trademark.
