Jake Roberts

Aurelian Jake Roberts (born 1955) is an American professional wrestler known for his innovative wrestling style, psychological approach to matches, and use of a live python as a character prop. Roberts debuted professionally in 1979 and achieved major prominence during the 1980s and 1990s, wrestling in the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). He was known for his slow, methodical wrestling style, snake-themed character, and the famous "DDT" finishing move, which became one of professional wrestling's most iconic moves. Roberts won multiple championships during his career and was involved in numerous memorable feuds and storylines. He competed against many of wrestling's biggest stars and was a main event performer at major wrestling events including WrestleManias.
