Isiah Lord Thomas III (born April 30, 1961) is an American retired professional basketball player and executive who is widely regarded as one of the greatest point guards in NBA history. Standing 6'1", Thomas was drafted by the Detroit Pistons in 1981 and spent 13 of his 18 NBA seasons with the team, leading them to two consecutive NBA championships in 1989 and 1990.
