Brent Favre
Hall of Fame NFL quarterback for the Green Bay Packers
Brett Lorenzo Favre (born October 10, 1969) is a retired American football quarterback widely considered one of the greatest to ever play the position. Born in Kiln, Mississippi, Favre was selected by the Atlanta Falcons in the 1991 NFL Draft but was traded to the Green Bay Packers, where he spent the majority of his legendary career. As quarterback of the Packers, Favre led the team to three consecutive NFL Championship games (1995, 1996, 1997), winning the Super Bowl XXXI championship in 1997, the franchise's first Super Bowl victory. Favre's defining characteristic was his durability and toughness; he famously played through injuries and extreme weather conditions, becoming an iconic figure in Green Bay's often-brutal climate. His career also reflected his competitive excellence, including multiple MVP awards and numerous NFL records for passing yards, touchdown passes, and games started consecutively. Favre played in the NFL for 20 seasons, finishing his career with the New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings before retirement in 2011. His impact on professional football extended beyond statistics; his leadership, resilience, and clutch performances in significant games made him a defining figure of 1990s football. Post-retirement, Favre's legacy has been complicated by personal controversies, though his on-field achievements remain among the most significant in NFL history.

Brent
English origin
“Derived from the Old English brenta, likely meaning 'high place' or referencing a place where burnt land existed, Brent has ancient Anglo-Saxon roots. The name gained prominence as both a surname and given name in English-speaking regions. It carries a no-nonsense, straightforward character that appeals to parents seeking classic brevity.”
