Wellington Mara

Wellington Timothy Mara (1916–2010) was an American sports executive and co-owner of the New York Giants, one of the most storied franchises in the National Football League. Born into the Mara family, which founded the Giants in 1925, Wellington inherited the team alongside his brother and played a crucial role in its management and success throughout his lifetime. Under his leadership, the Giants won multiple NFL championships and Super Bowls, establishing themselves as one of football's premier organizations. Wellington was known for his business acumen, integrity, and deep commitment to the sport of football.
