Vernon Davis (born January 31, 1984) is an American former professional football player who had a distinguished 14-season NFL career as a tight end. Playing primarily for the San Francisco 49ers (2006-2014) and later the Denver Broncos (2014-2015), Davis became one of the most athletic and physically gifted tight ends of his era. A six-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time All-Pro, he was known for his exceptional speed, jumping ability, and vertical leap, which made him a mismatch for opposing defenses.
