Vern Troyer

Vern Troyer (January 10, 1969 – April 21, 2018) was an American actor and stuntman who achieved international recognition for his role as Mini-Me in the 'Austin Powers' film series, particularly in 'Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me' (1999) and 'Austin Powers in Goldmember' (2002). Born in Sturgis, Michigan, Troyer stood 2 feet 8 inches tall due to achondroplasia (dwarfism), which he transformed into a successful entertainment career spanning film, television, and appearances. Beyond Austin Powers, he appeared in numerous Hollywood productions including 'Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire' and 'The Love Guru,' becoming one of the few actors with dwarfism to achieve mainstream film success.
