Tommie Aaron

Tommie Lee Aaron (born August 5, 1939) is a former Major League Baseball player who had a 16-year career primarily with the Milwaukee Braves, Atlanta Braves, and Detroit Tigers. Though often overshadowed by his legendary older brother Hank Aaron, Tommie carved out a respectable career as an outfielder and first baseman, appearing in over 1,000 games and accumulating more than 1,000 hits. He was a member of the 1957 World Series champion Braves alongside his brother, representing one of baseball's rare instances of brothers playing together on a championship team. Tommie's career statistics show a solid, dependable player who contributed to his teams during the 1960s and 1970s.
