Tito Jackson

Tito Jackson (born Toriano Adaryll Jackson on October 15, 1953) is an American musician, singer, and songwriter who gained fame as a founding member and guitarist of The Jackson 5, one of the most successful pop groups of all time. Born in Gary, Indiana, to the Jackson family of performers, Tito learned music from his father Joe Jackson and performed alongside his brothers in various iterations before The Jackson 5 was formed in 1966. As guitarist and vocalist for the group, Tito contributed to numerous hit songs including 'I Want You Back,' 'ABC,' 'The Love You Save,' and 'I'll Be There,' helping establish the Jackson 5 as a cultural phenomenon that dominated 1970s pop music. Though his brothers Michael and Jackie received more prominent vocal roles, Tito's instrumental contributions and steady presence were essential to the group's sound and success. Following The Jackson 5's peak period, Tito pursued a solo career, recorded with the Jacksons, and later focused on performance and business ventures.
