Stephen John Nash (born February 7, 1974) is a Canadian professional basketball player and coach widely regarded as one of the greatest point guards in NBA history. Born in Johannesburg, South Africa, to Canadian parents and raised in British Columbia, Nash played college basketball at Santa Clara University before joining the NBA in 1996.
