Randall Cunningham

Randall Cunningham (born March 27, 1963) is a former NFL quarterback who played 16 seasons in the league, primarily with the Philadelphia Eagles from 1985 to 1995. Born in Santa Ana, California, Cunningham quickly established himself as one of the most dynamic and athletic quarterbacks of his era. Standing 6'4", he combined exceptional arm talent with rare mobility for a quarterback, allowing him to extend plays and gain yards with his legs. Cunningham was selected to four Pro Bowls and led the Eagles to multiple playoff appearances. In 1990, he had an outstanding season where he threw for over 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns while also rushing for significant yardage. Beyond his on-field accomplishments, Cunningham was known for his character, integrity, and post-football pursuits in ministry. After leaving the NFL, he became an ordained minister and maintained his connection to football through coaching and broadcasting. Cunningham's legacy includes being one of the pioneering mobile quarterbacks who changed how the position was played.
