Prudence Farrow (born 1948) is an American actress, model, and meditation practitioner who gained prominence during the 1960s counterculture era. She is best known for her role as Nurse Eli Takstaff in the popular ABC daytime drama 'Peyton Place' (1966-1969), which made her a household name during the show's height of popularity. Farrow is also remembered as a close associate of The Beatles during their famous 1968 trip to India to study Transcendental Meditation with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. The Beatles' song 'Dear Prudence' from their self-titled White Album was inspired by her and her spiritual journey during that period.
