Pamela Harriman

Pamela Beryl Harriman (1920-1997) was an American diplomat, socialite, and Democratic Party fundraiser who became one of the most influential women in 20th-century American politics. Born in England to an aristocratic family, she began her career during World War II working in military intelligence for the British government.
