Thinking about the name
Monserrat
Catalan origin
“Derived from the Catalan mountain sanctuary Montserrat, meaning 'jagged mountain,' this name carries spiritual and geographical significance rooted in Benedictine monasticism. The shrine of Montserrat in Catalonia has been a pilgrimage site for centuries, making the name particularly resonant in Spanish and Catalan communities. It conveys both majesty and devotion, with an elegant, melodic quality.”
