Melinda Gates

Melinda Ann Gates (born August 15, 1964) is an American philanthropist, businesswoman, and global health advocate who co-founded the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation with her then-husband Bill Gates. Born in Dallas, Texas, she earned degrees in computer science and economics from Duke University before joining Microsoft, where she met Bill Gates. Working at Microsoft in product development, she gained valuable experience in technology and business management before leaving to focus on philanthropic work. Following her marriage to Bill Gates, she became increasingly involved in charitable initiatives, eventually leading the Gates Foundation's efforts in global health, development, and education.
