Maynard James Keenan

Maynard James Keenan (born May 17, 1964) is an American rock musician, singer, and songwriter who rose to prominence as the lead vocalist of Tool, one of the most influential progressive metal bands of the 1990s and 2000s. Born in Ravenna, Ohio, Keenan co-founded Tool in 1990, and the band achieved critical and commercial success with albums like 'Ænima' (1996) and 'Lateralus' (2001), which showcased complex time signatures, philosophical lyrics, and innovative music videos.
