Maryam al-Mansouri

Maryam al-Mansouri (born April 26, 1985) is an Emirati astronaut and experienced fighter pilot who achieved historic recognition as the first Arab woman to travel to space. In September 2023, al-Mansouri launched to the International Space Station aboard a SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft, completing an eight-day mission that included conducting scientific experiments and participating in spacewalks.
