Marshawn Terrell Lynch (born April 22, 1986) is a retired American football running back who played 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL), primarily for the Seattle Seahawks. Lynch earned five Pro Bowl selections and was named All-Pro three times, establishing himself as one of the most physically dominant runners of his era. He is best remembered for his role in the Seahawks' dominant 2013 season, culminating in their victory in Super Bowl XLVIII, where he rushed for 39 yards and two touchdowns.
