Marcelo Andrés Ríos Cremazzi (born December 26, 1975) is a retired Chilean professional tennis player who achieved historic success in the sport during the 1990s. Born in Santiago, Chile, Ríos turned professional in 1993 and quickly established himself as one of the most talented players of his generation. In 1998, he reached the World No. 1 ranking, becoming the first Latin American male player to achieve this milestone — a significant breakthrough for tennis in the region. He won 18 ATP titles and represented Chile in the Davis Cup with distinction.
