Kanan Jarrus

Kanan Jarrus is a central character in the animated series Star Wars Rebels (2014-2018), set in the Star Wars universe between the events of Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Originally named Caleb Dume, Kanan was a Jedi padawan under Jedi Master Depa Billaba during the Clone Wars until Order 66 forced him into hiding. Years later, he re-emerges as Kanan Jarrus, a skilled Force user and member of a rebel cell fighting against the Galactic Empire. Throughout the series, he grows as a character, overcoming trauma and doubt to become a true Jedi and mentor to Ezra Bridger, a young Force-sensitive orphan.
