Julius Malema

Julias Sello Malema (born 23 March 1981) is a South African politician and activist who has become one of the country's most prominent and controversial public figures. Malema rose to prominence as the president of the ANC Youth League, where he became known for his provocative speeches and fiery rhetoric. In 2012, he founded the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), a far-left political party that advocates for radical economic transformation and the nationalization of South African resources. The EFF has become the third-largest political party in South Africa's parliament, reflecting Malema's ability to mobilize voters, particularly younger South Africans frustrated with economic inequality and the pace of post-apartheid transformation.
