Joi Lansing (September 6, 1929 – August 7, 1972) was an American actress, dancer, and model who became a prominent figure in Hollywood during the 1950s and 1960s. Born Joyce Renée Weld in Salt Lake City, Utah, she adopted the stage name Joi Lansing early in her entertainment career. Lansing worked extensively in films and television, appearing in numerous productions and becoming known for her glamorous blonde appearance and talent for comedic roles. She appeared in films including 'The Long, Long Trailer' (1954) alongside Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, 'The Brave One' (1956), and 'Bye Bye Birdie' (1963).
