Jeremy Corbyn

Jeremy Bernard Corbyn (born May 26, 1949) is a British politician and lifelong activist who served as leader of the Labour Party from 2015 to 2020. Born in Chippenham, Wiltshire, Corbyn came from a left-wing activist family and began his political career as a committed socialist and peace advocate. Elected to Parliament in 1983, Corbyn established himself as a principled, independent voice opposing neoliberal policies, nuclear weapons, and military interventions while championing workers' rights and social justice.
