Jerad Leinart
NFL quarterback, USC standout
Jerad Leinart (born November 8, 1983) is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League primarily for the Arizona Cardinals. A standout player at the University of Southern California (USC), where he was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, Leinart was drafted 10th overall in the 2006 NFL Draft with high expectations. During his time with the Cardinals, he appeared in games as both a starter and backup but struggled to establish himself as a franchise quarterback at the professional level. He also played for the New York Jets and other teams during his NFL career. Despite not achieving the level of success many predicted, Leinart's college pedigree and early draft selection made him a notable figure in early 2000s football. He has since remained involved in the sports world through broadcasting and coaching roles.
