Ivo Josipović (born 1957) is a Croatian politician, composer, and musician who served as the sixth President of Croatia from 2010 to 2015. Born in Zagreb, Josipović was trained as a lawyer but became equally known for his artistic pursuits, composing chamber music, orchestral works, and film scores throughout his career. Before his presidency, he served as a Member of Parliament and was recognized as an intellectual and progressive voice in Croatian politics.
