Ivanka Marie Trump (born October 30, 1981) is an American businesswoman, fashion designer, and former government official. Born in New York City to Donald Trump and Ivana Trump, she grew up in the Trump family business empire and attended Georgetown University before working in real estate development. In the 1990s and 2000s, she became a prominent figure on the New York social scene and appeared on television, including as a contestant on "The Apprentice." She launched her own fashion brand, Ivanka Trump, which included jewelry, handbags, and clothing lines. During her father's presidency from 2017 to 2021, she served as an advisor, initially without an official title, later as an unpaid senior advisor. In that role, she focused on workforce development, women's entrepreneurship, and family leave policy. After leaving the White House, she largely stepped back from public life and relocated to Miami.
