Isham Jones
Jazz bandleader and songwriter of American standards
Isham Jones (1894–1956) was an American bandleader, composer, and violinist who became one of the most successful orchestral leaders during the Jazz Age and swing era. Born in Coalton, Ohio, Jones rose to prominence in the 1920s leading dance orchestras that became fixtures of upscale venues and radio broadcasts.
