Haydee (dancer)

Haydee (born November 29, 1935 – April 10, 2016) was a Brazilian-American prima ballerina and choreographer who achieved international acclaim during her dance career. Born Haydee Gutierrez in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she trained under prominent ballet instructors and quickly rose to prominence in the ballet world. Haydee performed with major ballet companies including the American Ballet Theatre and had a distinguished career as a prima ballerina, known for her technical precision and emotional expressiveness.
