Hart Crane

Hart Crane (1899-1932) was an American modernist poet whose brief but intensely productive career left an indelible mark on 20th-century American literature. Born in Garrettsville, Ohio, Crane developed a highly distinctive poetic voice characterized by complex symbolism, lush imagery, and ambitious structural experimentation.
