Gilbert Arenas

Gilberto Arenas Jr. (born January 6, 1982) is an American retired professional basketball player who achieved prominence as one of the NBA's most gifted and entertaining scorers during the 2000s. Born in Los Angeles, California, Arenas attended the University of Arizona, where he developed his game before being drafted by the Golden State Warriors in 2001. Though his early career showed promise, his breakout came after being traded to the Washington Wizards in 2003, where he transformed into an All-Star caliber performer.
