Giancarlo Cruz Michael Stanton (born November 8, 1990) is an American professional baseball right fielder and one of Major League Baseball's most feared power hitters. Standing 6'6" and weighing over 240 pounds, Stanton combines exceptional size with elite batting skills, making him one of the most physically imposing players in the sport. He was drafted by the Florida Marlins in 2007 and signed a landmark 13-year, $325 million contract in 2014, one of the largest in baseball history at the time.
