Giancarlo Stanton

Giancarlo Cruz Michael Stanton (born November 8, 1990) is an American professional baseball right fielder and one of Major League Baseball's most feared power hitters. Standing 6'6" and weighing over 240 pounds, Stanton combines exceptional size with elite batting skills, making him one of the most physically imposing players in the sport. He was drafted by the Florida Marlins in 2007 and signed a landmark 13-year, $325 million contract in 2014, one of the largest in baseball history at the time. In 2017, Stanton won the National League MVP award after hitting 59 home runs, the most in any season during the 2010s. He has since played for the New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers, helping lead the Dodgers to the World Series.
