Flavio Briatore

Flavio Briatore (born April 8, 1950) is an Italian businessman and former Formula One team manager renowned for his role in building one of the most successful racing programs in history. Born in Verzelli, Italy, Briatore initially worked in fashion and hospitality before entering the world of motorsport. He founded Benetton Formula in 1983, transforming the team into a competitive force that won multiple constructors' championships. As team principal of Renault F1 from 2000 to 2009, Briatore oversaw the development of the R25 and R26 cars, which secured back-to-back world championships with driver Giancarlo Fisichella and notably Fernando Alonso. His aggressive management style and innovative approach to team building made him a pivotal figure in modern Formula One. Briatore's influence extended beyond racing into luxury hospitality, as he became a prominent nightclub owner.
