Fernando Pessoa

Fernando António Nogueira Pessoa (June 13, 1888 – November 30, 1935) was a Portuguese poet, writer, and literary innovator who stands as one of the most influential figures in Portuguese literature and modernist writing globally. Born in Lisbon to a family with diplomatic connections, Pessoa was exposed to multiple languages and cultures from childhood, experiences that profoundly shaped his literary sensibility.
