Dominique Wilkins (born January 12, 1960) is an American former professional basketball player who became one of the NBA's most electrifying scorers during the 1980s and 1990s. Known by the nickname 'The Human Highlight Film' for his acrobatic dunking style and explosive athleticism, Wilkins spent the majority of his Hall of Fame career with the Atlanta Hawks, where he became the franchise's all-time leading scorer. A nine-time NBA All-Star, he was a two-time All-NBA First Team selection and led the Hawks to the 1988 Eastern Conference Finals. Playing alongside teammates like Spud Webb and later Karl Malone, Wilkins averaged 26.4 points per game over his 16-season career.
