Danny DeVito

Daniel Michael DeVito Jr. (born November 17, 1944) is an American actor, director, and producer who has enjoyed one of Hollywood's most enduring careers spanning more than six decades. Standing 4'10", DeVito became an unlikely leading man who succeeded through talent, charisma, and comic timing rather than conventional physical attributes. He gained early prominence as Louie De Palma in the television series 'Taxi' (1978-1983), earning two Emmy Awards for the role. His film career includes memorable appearances in 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest' (1975), 'Romancing the Stone' (1984), and 'Batman Returns' (1992) as the Penguin. In later years, he achieved renewed popularity through his role as Frank Reynolds in the cult comedy series 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' (2005-present). Beyond acting, DeVito has directed acclaimed films including 'Throw Momma from the Train' (1987) and produced numerous projects through his production company, Jersey Films.
