Cristina Scabbia

Cristina Scabbia (born May 8, 1978 – present) is an Italian singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of the gothic metal band Lacuna Coil, formed in Milan in 1994. With her distinctive vocal style ranging from ethereal singing to powerful growling, Scabbia has become one of metal music's most recognizable female vocalists. Lacuna Coil achieved international prominence with albums including 'Comalies' (2002) and 'Karmacode' (2006), touring extensively worldwide and building a dedicated global fanbase.
