Thinking about the name
Courtland
English origin
“Derived from Old English and French roots, this name literally suggests 'the land of the court' or 'court meadow.' Courtland carries both aristocratic and pastoral connotations, popular in colonial American naming traditions. It evokes genteel Southern heritage and has maintained steady use in American families.”
