Corey Seager (born April 27, 1993) is an American professional baseball shortstop who has established himself as one of the premier players in Major League Baseball. Originally drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers, Seager made an immediate impact upon his debut, winning the 2015 National League Rookie of the Year award while helping lead the Dodgers to the postseason. Standing 6'4" and known for his exceptional hitting ability, powerful swing, and consistency at the plate, Seager became the cornerstone of the Dodgers' lineup throughout the 2010s.
