Britney
American origin
“Originally developed in the 1970s-80s as an American elaboration of Brittany (derived from the French Bretagne, meaning 'from Brittany'), Britney exploded into cultural phenomenon status in the late 1990s through pop superstardom. The name carries youthful energy, contemporary sass, and mainstream appeal that made it a top-10 name across multiple decades.”
