Anfernee 'Penny' Hardaway (born 1971) is an American retired professional basketball player and current coach who was one of the most electrifying athletes of the 1990s NBA era. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Hardaway rose to stardom with the Orlando Magic, where he formed a dynamic duo with Shaquille O'Neal and led the team to the 1995 NBA Finals as a young phenomenon. Standing 6'7" with exceptional ball-handling skills, athleticism, and basketball intelligence, Hardaway could play multiple positions and was a nightmare matchup for opposing teams.
