Andrés José Padovani Galarraga (born June 18, 1961) is a Venezuelan professional baseball player who enjoyed a 19-season Major League Baseball career, establishing himself as one of the most consistent power hitters of the 1980s and 1990s. Known affectionately as "The Big Cat" for his size and agility around first base, Galarraga earned six All-Star selections and finished his career with 399 home runs and over 1,400 RBIs.
