Thinking about the name
Alda
Germanic origin
“Derived from Germanic 'ald' meaning 'old' or 'elder,' Alda carries connotations of wisdom, maturity, and heritage. The name is particularly strong in Italian and Spanish cultures, where it has been borne by writers and historical figures. Despite its etymological root, Alda feels modern and spare, with a musical quality that appeals to contemporary parents.”
