Abigail Adams

Abigail Smith Adams (November 22, 1744 – October 28, 1818) was an American writer and advocate for women's rights who became one of the most influential women of the American founding era. Born into an educated Massachusetts family, Abigail received an exceptional education for a woman of her time and developed a keen intellect focused on philosophy, politics, and social reform.
